Your Anaheim Ducks are looking to get back into the playoffs after failing to get into the playoffs last season. With Scott Niedermayer moving into retirement, the teams elder statesman, Teemu Selanne, has agreed to stay on as long as the team doesn’t go into a “rebuilding” season.
The team has been struggling in the early stages of the season and is having its troubles scoring even with one of the most potent power-play units in the league. "I don't think that we're operating at 100 percent, for sure," Ducks coach Randy Carlyle said. "Our effectiveness with the power play has to get to a higher level. Our compete level for those pucks and our execution has got to improve."
Look for the Ducks to get rolling and make moves to get back to the NHL Playoffs.
